vishay,vcnl4040 (on i2c bus)

Vendor: Vishay Intertechnology, Inc

Description

VCNL4040 proximity and ambient light sensor. See datasheet at
https://www.vishay.com/docs/84274/vcnl4040.pdf

Properties

Properties not inherited from the base binding file.

Name

Type

Details

int-gpios

phandle-array

The INT pin signals that a programmable interrupt function
for ALS and PS with upper and lower thresholds has been
triggered. The sensor generates an active-low level signal
which remains asserted until the data is read.

led-current

int

LED current in mA

Default value: 50

Legal values: 50, 75, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200

led-duty-cycle

int

LED duty cycle in Hz

Default value: 40

Legal values: 40, 80, 160, 320

proximity-it

string

Proximity integration time in T

Default value: 1

Legal values: '1', '1.5', '2', '2.5', '3', '3.5', '4', '8'

proximity-trigger

string

Proximity trigger type

Default value: disabled

Legal values: 'disabled', 'close', 'away', 'close-away'

als-it

int

ALS integration time in ms

Default value: 80

Legal values: 80, 160, 320, 640

supply-gpios

phandle-array

GPIO specifier that controls power to the device.

This property should be provided when the device has a dedicated
switch that controls power to the device. The supply state is
entirely the responsibility of the device driver.

Contrast with vin-supply.

vin-supply

phandle

Reference to the regulator that controls power to the device.
The referenced devicetree node must have a regulator compatible.

This property should be provided when device power is supplied
by a shared regulator. The supply state is dependent on the
request status of all devices fed by the regulator.

Contrast with supply-gpios. If both properties are provided
then the regulator must be requested before the supply GPIOS is
set to an active state, and the supply GPIOS must be set to an
inactive state before releasing the regulator.
